EN: Lately I'm playing alot around on polyvore and creating some outfits, so i came across the idea to do every sunday a blogpost with my styling ideas, hence the name Styling Sunday.

This blogpost will be about my two currently favourite styling items - lace and brogue shoes!

I wear brogue shoes with skinny jeans and a jumper on a daily basis, but the lace gives the simple outfit a special touch.

GER: Momentan verbringe ich viel Zeit auf der Internetseite polyvore und kreiere ein paar Outfits, also kam ich auf die Idee jeden Sonntag ein Blogpost zu machen, wo ich über meine styling Ideen berichte, daher der Name Styling Sunday.

Dieser Blogpost handelt von meinen momentanen styling Favoriten - Spitze und Brogue Schuhen. 

Ich trage Brogue Schuhe mit einer Skinnyjeans und einem Pullover oder einem anderen Oberteil fast täglich, aber die Spitze gibt dem simplen Outfit was besonderes.

Dotwork tutorial

EN: Some people asked me about my dotwork, how I do it and what tools I use, so I decided to do a little tutorial.

Firstly I show you what i use to draw the image:

GER: Ein paar Leute fragten nach meinen ,,Dotwork-Zeichnungen'' und welche Utensilien ich dazu benutze, also mache ich so etwas wie ein kleines Tutorial darüber.

Zuerst zeige ich euch mal was ich für die Zeichnung benutze:  

1. Faber-Castell Grip 2001  2 1/2 HB 

2. Facer-Castell Water-based varnish H

3. Copic Multiliner Classic 0,1 

4. Hybrid Gel Grip

EN: I start with a simple and lousy sketch (1),but I make sure that there are no big mistakes in the drawing, then I take the multiliner and draw over the sketch (2).

Afterwards I softly draw some shadows with a pencil (3). 

GER: Ich fang mit einer simplen Skizze an die nicht unbedingt perfekt sein muss (1), jedoch gehe ich sicher das sie keine gravierenden Fehler hat. 

Als zweites nehme ich den Multiliner und fahre alle Linien in der Skizze nach (2) und zum Schluss zeichne ich mit Bleistift leichte Schatten (3). 

EN: Now to the actual dotwork part: 

I start drawing many tiny dots that fade with the shadow. It is actually quite simple, the darker the shadow is, the more dots you have to draw. This technique gives the image a realistic illusion. It may seem hard at first but with a bit of practise it gets easier and you get a feeling for it.

GER: Nun zum eigentlich Teil: 

I zeichne viele kleine Punkte, die mit dem Schatten verblassen. Es ist eigentlich ziemlich simpel, je dunkler der Schatten ist, desto mehr Punkte werden gezeichnet. Mit dieser Methode wirkt das Bild realistischer. Vielleicht scheint es anfangs etwas schwer aber mit etwas Übung wird es einfacher und man kriegt ein Gefühl dafür. 

 

EN: When I'm finished with the whole dotwork thingy majiggy i usually go with a pencil over the shadows, so they are more intensive. If I find any mistakes i over draw them with the white gel pen.

GER: Wenn ich mit dem ganzen ,,Dotwork-Zeugs'' fertig bin nehm ich normalerweise einen Bleistift und geh nochmals über die Schatten damit sie intensiver sind.

Falls ich Fehler finde mal ich einfach mit dem weißen Gelstift drüber.

Nun ja, dass war mein erstes ,,Tutorial'', ich hoffe es hat euch gefallen und bis zum nächsten mal.
